18 Nov Discovering Positive Education (29 April – 1 May, 2017)
The 3-day in-depth training of Positive Education, Discovering Positive Education 2017, was held on 29 April to 1 May at the City University of Hong Kong. The training provided a comprehensive and in-depth examination on well-being, and facilitated personal transformation through teaching practical skills that the science of Positive Psychology has shown to be effective in improving well-being.
A team of professional trainers from the Institute of Positive Education, Geelong Grammar School of Australia have designed and gone through a transformational journey with more than 150 participants from local schools, NGOs and institutions joining the training. Their knowledge and valuable experience of implementing Positive Education have provided an excellent example for the educators.
Participants found the training course very helpful and informative. They enjoyed different elements of the training, including lectures, breakout discussion, reflection activities and different mindfulness exercises.
